2023 Worlds Entry Incentive…

RYA Dinghy Show

For those of you who can’t wait until Dee to be reacquainted with their sailing friends, come and visit us on the Dart 18 stand at the RYA Dinghy Show at Farnborough this weekend (25/26 Feb). Hopefully those on the stand will be able to answer any questions you may have on the coming season and there will be a representative from Bridlington on both days to answer any specific ‘Worlds’ questions you may have.

At 1400hrs on Saturday the stand will be the place to be to hear which of the first 40 Worlds entries will receive the full refund on their entry fee. For anybody who has entered by 1300hrs on Sunday there is a chance to walk away with the free set of battens kindly donated by Windsport International.

‘Free Entry Incentive’ (did we really need it!)

This incentive was open to the first 40 boats that entered the event and the recipient of this will be established  at 1400hrs on Saturday 25th Feb at the Dart 18 / UKIDA stand in the RYA Dinghy Show at Farnborough.

…and despite not needing it, there  is the second ‘incentive’ to enter early and you still have time to be included:

Free set of Dart 18 mainsail Battens (worth £295)  – Sponsored by Windsport International.

This incentive is open to any entry made prior to 1300hrs on Sunday 26th Feb and the recipient will be announced on the Dart 18 stand at 1400hrs. So if you were holding off on entering, here is a reason to do it now!

Both draws will be live streamed on the UKIDA FB group for those who want to know quickly if they are in for a refund or a new set of Battens.

….Following a successful RYA Dinghy Show for UKIDA, where visitors were able to scrutinise the dart 18 on the stand and enquire about the fleet activities including The World Championships, the recipients of the first two early entry incentives were decided

Incentive 1 – A Full Refund on Entry Fee was awarded to Sean and Helen O’Connor

Incentive 2  - A complete set of dart 18 mainsail battens (donated by Windsport International) was awarded to Francois De Vriendt and Luc Chauvet

Both awards can be viewed on the UKIDA Dart18 face book page
